    I watch a few of the other teams and I have seen A LOT of line drive just barely foul balls and it's not just the Red Sox. More than I have seen before. It's crazy.

    Anybody think we can make a run at this guy? Just hit his 4th homerun. He'd be a very nice pickup. Since we have Chavis at 3rd, i'd be willing to send Devers and a prospect for Merifield. I think he can help solidify the bottom of the lineup.

    At some point you have to thank him for his contributions and then move on. He's got too much roller coaster in his game. Need more consistency.

    He was supposed to be a perennial batting champion candidate according to buster olney. I think it's obvious that won't be the case.

    Any chance we can get Whit Merifield? I think we need one more good bat. Lin, Nunez and Holt are not starters. Chavis isn't a natural 2nd baseman and well Pedroia is cooked.

    Maybe it's me just getting older, I don't know but right now i'm not mad or upset about this start. We won the world series last year and so I'm thankful for that. I realize it's just very unlikely to win or expect a world series championship every.single.year. So i'm just going with the flow.

    Very encouraging outing by Eovaldi. I'm encouraged. I really am. I think this staff is going to settle down soon. Sale had better velocity last night. We're going to get this thing turned around.
