I won't belabor the point, but you already know when I turned on Hanley & Panda in that final month of 2015, with both on the DL, IN MY MIND exhibiting the behavior of two major stoners. IN MY MIND they both looked and acted majorly BAKED.... WASTED out of their minds. Yucking is up & hanging all over each other while the Sox were completely imploding. So completely out of it that they didn't give a s*** about their guys descending from on high earlier in the season, to a doormat for the rest of the league... So, based on that behavior, and chronic bloodshot eyes, I inferred that they are stoners. NOT NOT NOT because they are "dark islanders with dreads" as you accused me of a few pages ago. Again, I don't want to get back into that at all. I respect you thinking I'm full of s*** with my perceptions of Hanley & Pablo! I really do. I get that some could think, based on their own situations, "that I'm unfairly judging them based on their race...." BUT I'm not. I've so clearly spelled out why I would "pick Hanley" out of all current Red Sox players to get himself wrapped up with some druggie. Again, because I actually really like Hanley, and think he really tried to redeem himself after 2015, I also CLEARLY SAID that I hoped like hell that it was some stupid mistake!!! Thank God it was!!! LOL :0 Turnabout is in fact fair play. I take credit for this win. Was dog tired as I come to the back side of my landscape renewal. 8 hrs a day the past 10 days, al HOT. Planned to take the morning off, kick back, & watch the Sox. I figured it would be a great game with SALE, but as the pre-game began, I had this feeling that if I watched it would all go wrong. You're welcome. Got a lot done, but now I can't move.

I keep hearing Beltre, but I'm not sure how that could happen with the 8 or $9 million we'd owe him? He's hitting .315, but with a career low 4 He's a? Now you pretty much have to move JBJ, because you move JDM to the OF, and keep Denver's POP 13 or so HR's in the lineup? Just not sure this is the best move for the RS? & I don't see how you get it done with our CAP & Luxury tax issues? Plus.... we really need help at 2nd base? Not sure Lin is the answer there?

Given the amount of time Mookie has been out, JDM going through a rough patch (hitting below .265 for the last 30 games), the only player above .300 being Beni, the next closest guys being in the .260's, Pedey out, Hanley gone, terrible D at 3rd, JBJ & Vaz being a black hole at. The bottom of the lineup, Devers being exposed. With major holes in his swing, Mooreland cooling off big time, up & down starters, and the offense struggling, it's frankly pretty amazing that we are still winning. I have to believe that our boys start to heat back up soon on offense. I think our pitching stays relatively speaking strong. Our BP stays relatively good. Even JBJ finds his stick & hits somewhere near his norm, around .255 - .265 (God willing he even has that 1 month per year hot streak), Devers settles down & stops hacking away at flying high cheese, our catchers start to heat up on 0, JDM & Mookie heat back up, Bogie hits more for avg. As he is more than capable of, but keeps his launch angle going as well, Beni continues his BREAK OUT ALL-STAR YEAR, Mooreland picks up on a power surge, & the Sox go on a bit of a run. We have a legit shot at finishing on top of our division. If the Sox make no moves at the deadline, and we go 1 & done in a Wild-Card elimination game, the s*** will most definitely hit the fan. I'm not sure DD is willing to take that risk? I think he makes some interesting moves to make this team better. I think there is a small chance that he puts together a package deal to find a R hand bat with power.... Outside chance he puts together something for Machado (5% chance). Not at all likely, but he simply must add a power RH bat. It's hopefully going to be a dog fight down to the final week with the Yankees. I think the 60% beat us out for top of the division, but we still win the 1 off, and eventually meet the Yankees in the ALCS. It's an epic series. One for the ages! Win or lose in game 7, it will be one to remember for our lifetime. Winning will be fantastic, but even in the event of yet another heartbreaker, it will be a series worthy of these two baseball GIANTS! A series that any true Sox fan will love.

I also had my run ins with the law. Had to get out of Dodge... All stupid stuff, but it added up. A field trip to a Mass State Prison, what I now get was a scared straight routine, helped me see the light. It worked. I moved west & got my sh!+ straight real quick. A couple years of hard work, back to business school, & I figured out that MODERATION was the order of the day for me. Getting away from GREAT friends for a while was also a must. I could not hang with the big boys & stay focused like they could. You live & learn!

Best mistake my ex ever made. A woman's softball team. She met the "love of her life," well... for 8 years anyway, and this old Catholic boy was given a new lease on life. I would have stayed miserable for the rest of my life..... God I LOVE woman's softball!
