Yes I’d like to see Houck in the pen too, but that said I’d really like to see one or two of these starters who are on the bubble make Cora’s job tough.

Been watching some Padres with X and Donny O out there….except last night was on Apple. I really don’t care for Spilborghs and he was the color guy last night. Apple has cleaned up the broadcast a bit it seems but still a decided work in progress. Did seem weird having no Sox yday.

Just caught up on delay. Good win. Appeared to me like Sale had trouble locating his fastball but gutted it out. What can you say about Duvall? On fire. Only downside of today is because I was on delay on the MLB.TV app I didn’t want to access the menu to switch audio to the radio broadcast for fear of seeing the score so I had to put up with the insufferable tandem of Youk-too-much and O’Boring. Blah.

Glad I missed today completely after listening to last night’s game while driving 200 miles. Woof. I was nervous about the pitching (founded so far) and D (which also looks sketchy)…not about the bats. Oh well it’s early. Maybe Balt and Pitt are going to prove better than they look on paper? But need to get going here. Tough start. A blown pop fly away from 1-5. -

Once again some questionable D and pitching on both sides, but bats are alive and well in the early going. Devers delivers. Mass-Attack-Ah. Casas crushes.
