It usually works out. But I am a bit behind. My 4 month old granddaughter had an hour and a half nap on me this morning and it was glorious so the bacon had to wait! Lol

Pretty standard western Canada stuff. Thick alder smoke bacon. Eggs. Fresh bakery bread for toast. Probably warm up some ham and beef tenderloin from the past 2 nights dinners. See if I get orders for pancakes and/or French toast from the fam. Fried tomatoes. Fried potatoes. Coffee and Bailies Irish cream. Maybe a mimosa or two. I have a very very nice remodeled kitchen and I am retired and love to cook. I’d invite you over but we are still in lockdown here! Haha

Sure you are. You were ready to fire everybody when you lost last year. You’ve come in hot this year convinced this is the year. Good for you. The Yankees look great on paper. Like I say I love fans like you. That’s not meant to be an insult. You provide almost as much entertainment as the on field product. And when you don’t win, again, this year you will be sideways pissed off and ready to fire everyone again. And it will be fun to watch. You are a Yankees fan on a Sox board attempting to bait and argue (as you should) with fans of a franchise who have nothing to lose. We Sox fans only stand to gain if the Sox surprise some people (as I think they still might) whereas you have everything to lose as the Yanks once again come in as paper champs likely to fall short. Again. Only downside for you. But you are on fire. Keep it up! All in good fun my friend. Enjoy the ride. See you in the game thread!

Agreed. In the end, it seems everyone involved did the best deals they could given the variables at play, many we aren’t privy to. I hope it works out long term for everyone. I can’t hate the Dodgers, Brooklyn was my grandfathers favorite team so I’ve always had a soft spot for them.

What I worry about with Devers is the throwing becomes mental. If it’s not already. Like yesterday. Great stab but toss a lollypop over second. He Knoblauched it. If the kid starts to press and can’t settle down there may ultimately be no choice but to move him to 1B/DH. Still time though.
