  1. I agree, we can pretty much forget May.
  2. I'm not so sure those 5-7 year contracts are going to keep happening with pitchers as more and more teams get burned.
  3. Jammed thumb day to day.
  4. I'm sure there is probably always soreness, it depends on how much he can tolerate.
  5. I agree but you have to build on something.
  6. Maybe helps explain why he has looked hopeless at the plate.
  7. Price threw his curveball in a bullpen today and said he felt fine. Hopefully he can build on that.
  8. The case could be made but if he gave up a lead off home run or even a hit the complaints would have been, why not Kimbrel.
  9. Tell that to Farrell, he's made some comments.
  10. The writers are just looking for some sort of controversy, looking for as many views as possible. Much prefer Speier and the projo writers who give very good insight, compared to the Cafardos and Silvermans, who I find lazy.
  11. Farrell does not seem to enamored with his fielding and over aggressiveness with the bat. Think he's going to have a short leash with him.
  12. Sorry but every sox fan would have complained if he gave up the home run. It's in the blood of sox fans.
  13. Agree, you have to love the Boston media, they just love to rile up sox fans. Silverman and Cafardo had articles out that questioned Farrels decision, if they kept Sale in and he gave up the homerun they would have questioned that. Very lazy reporting.
  14. We also have to give Ben a lot of credit for the team we have now. Some good drafts and very good international signings.
  15. I see no way Pablo lasts 5 years here not with Hernandez and Devers on the way, and Chavis and Dalbec behind them. At some point we are going to be eating a big portion if not all of the remainder of the contract.
  16. I would hope there is an industry shift and realize the folly of giving pitchers 5-7 years.
  17. Yes he has hoping he continues this .
  18. Not going to do that this year with Moreland and Ramirez.
  19. Good day in the minors yesterday. 3 homeruns in Salem for Chavis, to put that in perspective Devers was the team leader in homeruns in that ballpark last year he hit 3. Workman faced 6 batters and struck out 5 of them.
  20. Very surprised he took Liriano out this early. Hanley and Moreland have had terrible at bats against him.
  21. Very good. At least we have that tonight.
  22. Nice right handed at bat for Pablo.
  23. We are 9 and 5 on the year.
