My personal preference would be to use him (Miller for example) in the 8th if need be to put out a fire, then let someone else close out the 9th. Then he'd be available the next day to pitch the 9th if needed.
As an aside, is it my imagination or did Kelly's season get a kick-start when he plunked Austin? It seems like he's been almost untouchable since then.
