  1. Well, that you would have rather had them score before the ninth. You get the point.
  2. No more ridiculous than your post stating that you'd rather enter the 9th tied rather than down a run. And kimbrel did have a chance to win the game.
  3. Just because the Mariners preferred miley over buch doesn't mean there was absolutely no market for buch.
  4. Why do you always feel the need to interject in two other posters' conversations and tell them how to post? And my post, unlike yours, did have to do with the discussion. Stop being a nosy douche and mind your own f***ing business.
  5. And I'd rather be up 10 runs after the 1st inning..........
  6. Fair point, but would you rather come up for last licks being down 1 run or 5?
  7. It certainly would have been possible.
  8. Nonsense. While the offense didn't bail anyone out, kimbrel certainly lost this game. He faced 4 batters and didn't get 1 of them out.
  9. Where did I say that you claimed that the kimbrel package would have netted a top quality starter??!! If you are going to accuse me of something at least get your facts straight. As far as "how's kimbrel doing for the sawx so far?" Meh, mediocre performance for top closer money. He's no Andrew Miller.
  10. I'm sure there are some teams that think he may perform better away from beantowne.
  11. Read slushie's post above, it may have required eating some of buch's contract.
  12. Maybe he has been talking to price about how to perform as an "ace".........
  13. How so? Those were some pretty good prospects that were given up for kimbrel. Or at least that's what moon has told us a thousand times.......
  14. Well, him plus the prospects.
  15. I hear ya, but if that's the case, why do they continually put him in those situations?
  16. He needs to work more games then!
  17. Yeah, him and the prospects traded for kimbrel might have brought back a solid starter.
  18. Doesn't change my statement, he was a gamble on both quality and quantity.
  19. I disagree about buch, his "quality" has varied greatly over the years. It certainly was a bet on both quality as well as quantity.
  20. Tough call. And if so I would have only to trade him. I think he's a guy who could benefit from a change of scenery. But between his constant health issues and inconsistent performance he's not a guy I would want on my team.
  21. It didn't come as too big of a surprise to me.
  22. Why not? It's not like he hasn't been terrible before. He's like the SF Giants lately, except he sucks on the even numbered years.
