Red Sox messed up due to the fact they thought this season would be easy and a cakewalk after winning the title. they made no improvements to the roster, lost a few guys, and decided to rest and take it easy in spring training, with a nice, lax 'we the champs" attitude. almost oblivious to the fact that they would have a target on their back. did they really think red sox and astros weren't pissed about how their seasons ended? they are motivated, and sox have a target on their back. this has been a pathetic start to the season, and no, INJURIES ARENT A REASON FOR THIS.
