  1. I know it was at our old stomping grounds where I made the call on JBJ making the leap at the plate, but.... BOS CF 30 104 14 30 7 4 3 15 7 28 2 0 .288 .342 .519 .861 JBJ is really tearing it up! As I said there, he will finish above .280 with an ops over .800. It's not a fluke. His balance & approach at the plate are like night and day. Look for close to 20 HR's also, as I said there. Kid is crazy powerful! He is a rising star, and is here to stay.
  2. God love Pedey, but this should never have come out. It doesn't make anybody but Pedey look good. To me, it really makes Carl Willis & Farrell look bad. I heard Pedey is already thinking about bucking for pitching coach when is done as a player. He plans to parlay this into manager. I also heard he's been studying Donald Trump's delivery when he says "make America great again." Early in the primaries Pedey said he'd always follow that up with, "it's gon a be YUGE," Pedey was looking at some tapes from Wisconsin when Cruz was hitting him hard and noticed that Trump was going with, "It'll be great folks." Trump made the change, and the rest is history. Asked if he was angling for Trump's campaign manager, Pedey said, "are you f*c&ing high? Dude! You've been hanging out with Pablo too much!" Anyway.... While Pedey clearly can do whatever he chooses to after basebsll, I don't like to hear Price grasping at straw. I also hate that stupid f*c&ing red hate Trump wears with the business suit.
  3. Besides, I have it on very good authority from my 15-20 yr. Old self.! Boy was plowed!
  4. Why focus on the known when we can speculate!? What the hell fun is that!?
  5. Damn straight! I've missed Wake! This guy is Wake++
  6. #1 starter... shhhhhhh. This post by Dojji. Aka Al Haig
  7. Damnit! You're just making the posting Gestapo angry! Oh sure! They won't come after you. You're not the one hiding in an attic. ; (
  8. Oh crap! Not hanley's fault! Great throw!
  9. Didn't I tell you guys he would be great this year? His attitude would be fantastic! He'd play the heads up kind of bball you long for in a veteran pkayer????
  10. DANG! That did not look good! Looked like all bone to me!
  11. #1 Wright, #2 Porcello, #3 Buch, #4 Price, #5 ERod, #6 Kelley (was actually s how ing signs of getting it together) Somebody is going to stay up for long relief.
  12. Very true! I can get on a roll.....
  13. There is no way in hell Wright is going anywhere when ERod is ready to go. Even if Kelly comes back strong, Buch has it rolling,Porcello is still sharp..... Wright will stay put in this rotation! How great would it be to have "too many starters!?!?!?"
  14. 2020 i'm there! This kid is going to be great for a long time to come! He is the real deal!
  15. LOL Doing good DD! Cotton boxers are the secret. Good to see you here!
  16. Although this is an unauthorized thread, I would agree with Moon. I WOULD LOVE to have this kid! Still, the cost would be far too great. If it were a FA deal, i'd say 0AY WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO!
  17. Good thing we struck early!!! This kid's got great stuff once he gets rolling!
  18. I wasn't wrong about Hanley, but SO GLAD to eat Crow over his efforts at 1st base, and his clear "team first" attitude on hitting. He could have 8+ HR by now, but he has done exactly what Chili asked of him. I could not be more pleased with Hanley! GREAT ATTITUDE this year. !
  19. No need for proof Slash. I know what my eyes clearly saw on many occasions last year. Besides, it's not a statement of fact, it's an opinion. Good to see you my friend. I mean that! Love mixing it up with you. So glad the election season is over!!!!!
  20. But by all means..... those who don't want to jump on board with the "bashing," please feel free to jump off. Just please try to be a bit more tolerant with those of us who wanted another "pound of flab," after hearing about his season ending injury. I just don't want to see his blurry eyes hanging all over, & distracting our young guys who are putting it all out on the field to rebuild a winning organization. The FO is listening to fans. If they see we have had it with some of this shyte, they will respond. Make no mistake! The reason we got Shaw at 3rd was because of fans like us. Fans who were mad as hell, & weren't going to take any more. You can all say thank you any time you like.
  21. Not at all. Just don't get your panties in a bundle when some of us come to pretty logical conclusions based on his first year, his unbelievable return to ST, and his continued attitude seemingly detached & indifferent attitude about losing his job to a rookie. Surely you'd admit that it's a bit beyond bizarre? If he were here, i'd be nice to him, but i'd ask a few questions..... Like... don't you think it's clear by now that your weight has been a factor in your performance here in Boston? Don't you see that your weight is clearly limiting your movement and leading to ever increasing injuries? Don't you think for 19M you owe the Sox following through on getting in much better shape when you were clearly asked to do so? Don't you think you owe the Boston fans a bit more effort? Were you unaware of how unhappy Sox fans were last year? Do you know that many thought you sure looked high on many occasions, hanging all over certain other players on the bench, seemingly oblivious to the collapse of a team around you? Did you not understand that the FO gave you early walking papers, supposedly to get an early start on "rehabm" & to get in shape? Tell us about how you & your old trainer would hide your weight in the run up to contract negotiations? Do you believe you can cling to the story of no weight issues, given your history of hiding massive weight gains that would "undermine negotiations with the SF FO," as your old trainer put it? Do you see how Boston fans who have gotten less than nothing from you for 19M / yr. guaranteed salary? Can you see how most Boston fans who have struggled through 2 brutal 14 & 15 seasons might take it personally that you are one of the 2 highest paid position players on this team, but you've done nothing to earn it? That to many, it's tantamount to pissing on the uniform these fans live, eat, sleep, breathe, bleed for year after year, for 50, 60, 70, years? Can you understand why, after hearing from JF in January that you had lost 20+ pounds & were in great shape, that RSN would feel more than betrayed & lied to? What do you say to fans who question your heart, self-discipline, work ethic, teamsmanship, honesty, & chsracter, after hearing how you have had a long history of hiding a controllable weight problem? That we do see you doing nothing to seek help, and infer that you are a selfish & indulgent person for putting so little out for this team, all while happily taking the money & continuing to stuff your face? Just a few questions I might ask him in a pleasant sit down interview. Perhaps at Chatchki's?
