Well when we have Sale, price, erod, eovaldi penciled into the rotation the next few years we are really just looking at a 5th starter. That’s kind of the point....

Slasher prediction: Kimmi will wish it was only for 3 years but will be OK with the 5/$145MM if we factor in this year it's a 6 year contract / 25.5 per year.

the point of the ring comparison is that neither of those guys are currently in the HoF. munson isnt so he can compare his 2 with David Ortiz. well, until Papi goes into the Hall in a couple more years.....

the great news for JDM is that he chose the correct landing spot to get himself a ring in 2018. whether that was by "best offer" or by "top of his list". not sure if either really matters. usually those 2 end up being the same in the end. hence why the Boston Red Sox would love JDM to opt out next year and re-sign him to a lower AAV.

Moon, you were the first person i remember stating he would be 1b. that was before anyone had even heard of him. personally, i think he gets 2 or 3 more seasons at 3b. he has a cannon if he can sort out the accuracy....
