I've always thought the same thing. You have some guy dealing in the 6th, to be replaced by a guy dealing in the 7th, just to have a guy come in who isn't on and to lose the game in the 8th.

Rain still coming down pretty good. I'm not sure if there still is a threat of delay or end of game.

They started playing again. Just heard that the rain has passed, so I guess not a threat any longer tonight. You don't need a at the game mojo to know which way the wind blows.

Really? Ok, then. Common sense says Kimbrell is as good or better as other pitchers coming in in innings with men on base. Case solved. Remy and OB..... use common sense next time will ya

There is history to his not acheiving coming into innings with batters on. I'm not sure if it true, myth, or lore. I recall not seeing super success. I'd love to see the stats on it. OB and Remy brought it up right after and mentioned that it was questionable if he is only good for a clean ninth.

Funny. I never thought Swi looked cocky. I always thought he never could look like he belonged in the big show. Even doing so he looked like he kindof sortof managed the pitching staff where you look for a catcher to be a leader. At this point I can't even pull the "I know more than the Sox staff" stuff or argue against what he has showed when he has been given a chance. They are super down on the guy and there has to be a reason. He slapped some really nice hits the year he was up and looked to me like he had really good ability at the plate. But if they aren't pitch hitting him for Vaz at crucial moments.......... he's done with this team.

Want a silver lining to this game. This is it and it's huge. Especially with the notice that Price may be down.
