  1. Erods one of my favorites. I love how effortless he looks on the mound, he's pretty good. But the best part of being a fan of ERod is you get to cheer for him, but you also get to bitch and moan all game about him not attacking the plate. It's the best of both worlds..... you'll love it.
  2. In the bullpen we trust...
  3. Well said Spud...... This team is just fun to watch. I can't wait till Mookie is back. The team doesn't look like a bunch of badass super weight room players, but they can kick major ass.
  4. Text book win. Keeping it rolling....
  5. OK. Eck talking about how he ran hitting a home run is just funny....
  6. Why did they take Price out after 86 pitches? Bullpen need work I guess?
  7. Was he up to bat? I think I blinked and missed it.
  8. Jesus..... I just choked-out my wife's bichon frise I'm so angry after this loss. Stay sane brother.....
  9. Reluctantly, I will be. And I don't want to hear any jokes about how "I hob, you hob, we all hob for Soxhob" makes no sense.
  10. Blah blah blah....... give us your Vegas odds of him making it or be quiet. That way we can rub your face in it or not later on.
  11. You're right. Not the best example. But in general. Learning to not just hit in your comfort swing wheelhouse and to put it in play somewhere else is not an easy thing. If it was, we woudn't see shifts. At some point the adjustment to the adjustment may be the norm. JDM may be a good example.
  12. Beeks got slaughtered. He wasn't fooling anyone, batting practice. I imagine that wasn't the first or last time a first appearance in the big show went horribly wrong. Might want to put a hold on ordering all those bobblehead dolls, but this outing means very little.
  13. Most of the time in sports the plan is to pound the opponents weak points until they show they can adjust consistantly. If it were so easy to adjust, Moreland would be have learned to bunt down to third with consantancy. Just one example.
  14. ahhh..... ok. That does make sense. Too bad the first inning happened. He was hitting 95 mph tonight when he rarely has in the past Doesn't suprise me he was over throwing in a moment like this.
  15. I don't mind throw away games, and we have to see if AAA talent can help later in the season or just what they have. And I get giving the starters another rest day as it will help later in the season. But I'm not sure why they paired Beeks with Swihart.
  16. Well.... that sucked.
  17. Matthew Boyd DET (3-4, 3.23) vs. Jalen Beeks BOS Little known is his father Clarence was famous for a time....
  18. Nothing to do with surgery, just inflammation is what was reported about an hour ago. I guess that's about the best news you can get.
  19. Blaine Hardy DET (2-0, 2.77) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez BOS (6-1, 3.88)
  20. Nice easy win, which usually are hard to come by. I just straight up enjoyed that one.
  21. Moving on from Hanley does a couple things. It finally answers the question of when or if he will get back to where the Sox hoped he would be. Which I think may just have always lingered. They can plan to move on now that he is gone. Also, if someone picks him up now, the Sox save some money. Let someone else take the gamble at much discounted rate.
  22. Artie Lewicki DET (0-0, 3.60) vs. Steven Wright BOS (1-0, 2.25)
  23. Glad to pull out a 2 and 2. Looked like trouble there after the first couple games............. I think this team fights to the finish this year.
  24. These annoucers still talking crap about boston and DickWad just laughing.................. the total worse both I've ever heard.
