    It's the life cycle of an athelete. My father would beat me in 1 on 1 in basketball a few years after I was stronger, faster, quicker, with more endurance than the old man. He was just more knowledgable and would school me. The smart ones survive long after they shouldn't any longer. I think King Felix had the ability and the smarts his entire career.

    Way to hedge you bet on his success. But I have to say I'm feeling the same way. I think I've down graded Devers from, needs time to succeed to, needs time to hopefully succeed. Lets pick the positive route just to have fun. He's a hitting freak. Say he catches on, he is going to give pitchers fits if he can adjust. This is my bet. Maybe not next year, but in the next few years, that kid is going to be pounding pitchers into the dirt, while blowing bubbles with his chewing gum.

    Huh? I wouldn't have brought him in with a 4 run lead. I'd brought in Haley to close it out. If it was 3 run lead I might, depending on who was up. 2 run lead I would for sure.

    Anyone of you on MLB.TV internet streaming? I guess the company Merk paid for the commercials for Keytruda to just run over and over again. Picture every commercial break, every commercial for the last two or three days a commercial about Keytruda for 10 seconds, then 30 seconds of all the side effects of Keytruda...... over and over and over and over and over and over and over again........... I hate MLB.TV

    I remember hurting my knee before the beginning of a summer and thinking how I may have just wrecked my summer. If you're a pitcher at this level and that happens, imagine the thoughts going through your head when that happens. Forget the summer, that may be career and life changing....
