    You really only show up when bad stuff happens. It's uncanny. Like things are going bad and somone opens a can and you show up... like you've been un-canned or something.

    You know what would be nutz, if we just worked backwards and see what happens. Kimbrel, Kelly, Barnes, Hembree................. and see how it goes from there. Maybe close it out with someone who is in their off day of work, maybe Price or something.

    I seriously have no idea who should come in and replace Wright. I would have went with Valazquez. But, Beeks seems good to me also. As long as either one has a short leash. Getting younger talent MLB experience without screwing the pooch is about the most difficult thing I can think as far a roster moves.

    Things certaintly changed after the first WS. Before that 162 days of the year was like you were stuck under water and trying to get to the surface to catch a breath. The WS win was like we had floation devices and a margarita machine while floating around in the sea. The third one makes me feel like we are driving a freakin yacht around the water crushing smaller vessals like Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack.

    No..... no....... no way........ Even if Price gets pummelled, it means nothing. There is no pitcher on this planet that is a gurantee against an offense like that. He could get beat bad, but he'd lick his wounds and continue on. Ask Pedro.

    I have no backbone when it comes to a series with NY, I hate to admit it. I try to show my tough guy side, but on the inside I hope first not to get swept, then will consider a 1 win 2 loss series acceptable and try to console myself about what happened. Years of this Sox life has conditioned me. Now say we sweep those jackasses.......... wine will taste sweeter than it has ever tasted before

    First off, I feel dirty slagging JBJ. But he is usually doing his swing and miss by a mile while looking at the right field stands routine during Sept. By the time he gets up to bat in Oct, you already know the result.

    Why does he only hit in the middle of a season?

    I kinda, sortof get that. For close to a month we've been watching him sting some balls right to the defense. But, his yearly month awakening with a bit of bad luck thrown in just makes me think I'd move on from the guy if there was a chance to (and there isn't right now). And again, he doesn't show up in the playoffs against good pitching.
