    News flash to you moron, Ben has said many times he takes Farrel's input seriousely and while Cherrington makes the final decision, he takes Farrells input serious and if Farrell really wants something, Ben will do it. Ie, sending nava down was a Farrell decision as quoted by Farrell himself. So shut up because you have no idea on what you say on anything as evidence of some of your ridiculous posts.

    Last year with all the blunders farrell made they won in spite of him. Jackie bradley doesn't belong at this level and he proves it everynight. Daniel Nava should be playing in his place

    Last year the bargain basement approach worked, but to win a WS, or at least get close takes money spent on keeping quality players, (Eillsbury, drew) or signing new players. This year the sox won't make the playoffs, papi had a monster season last year, doubtful he repeats. Grady Sizemore is a complete bust, Bradley plays good defense, but his bat and speed is no match for Ellsbury. Bogarts should be a back up to Stephen drew and middlebrooks. The sox just plain suck:rolleyes:

    I like the rem dawg, but the guy is boring, eck is the best, if kevim millar wasnt such a goof ball who acts like a 12 year old kid, maybe, im sick of his hero worship of the yankees.

    He has his really good games and really bad ones, he is not the great pitcher he thin k s he is. He thinks hes in the verlander and schuzer class which he isnt, and because he is inconsistent he is good, but far from great, Lester would be a great # 3 starter, really good #2, but ive never seen him as a # 1. Lackey if he was younger he would be my choice for # 1

    Ben thinks he can shop bargain basement and have close to the success of last year. Fact is he and farrell got lucky, that bargain mentality may work once in a while but not every year. Jackie Bradley belongs in pawtuckett, Dubront has no business being a starter on any team, hes strictly bullpen material, john farrel made many bad decesions last year but got lucky, this year allowing dubront to start is a joke and blame farrell and ben, ben for thinking they didn't need starting pitching this off season. In 2012 the sox stunk because the starting pitching stunk. This year the (except lackey) starters are pitiful, the defense with some exceptions stink, the offense stinks. Farrell wont get lucky this year with all his mistakes, and Ben needs to stop bargain hunting.

    I never thought lester was a great pitcher, I think Lackey's better. I wouldn't put lester in the same class as verlander or schurzer, but hes gonna want a huge payday. I would much rather have david price

    This guy is quickly becoming another Josh Beckett, Beckett would pitch lousy, than hit the DL. I see this pattern with Bucholz. I knew Ben made a mistake this off season not getting another starter. My prediction is Bucholz will implode then hit the DL as the Yankees march to the post season, the sox will be home watching.
