  1. Was talking more '70s and up, but go ahead be ridiculous...👍
  2. My apologies good sir. But you should also know better And know the difference Of how today's s*** sucks.
  3. NBA is such a shame. 3-point line COMPLETELY RUINED the sport. These kids will never know how great 80's Basketball was when teams more or less ignored the 3-,point line. Half-court Basketball and mid-range, 2-point shots were a thing of beauty. Hockey completely sucks now too. Football has remained the closest to its peak, IMHO.
  4. OF COURSE you enjoyed the games of the 70's better, wanna know why??? Cause it WAS better!!!! So was the 80's and 90's, and even 2000's when Schilling and Papi and Foulke and Pedroia and Damon were playing. And not swiveling their hips on second base after hitting a double like the jerkoffs of today.
  5. Not til you do Don Sutton, Steve Carlton and Frank Tanana. Today's Baseball is Pussy.
  6. Do YOU enjoy this brand of Baseball more than what you watched in 70's/80's, "Old-Timey" member???
  7. You should know 78, pitch count wasnt a THING until Pedro Game 7, '03. Early should have stayed in until he FALTERED. Now we have a 5-game losing streak BECAUSE of it.
  8. No, DONT give in to Modern Douchery. Get OFF my f***in lawn, and STAY off it!
  9. Yeah, theyre so damn "skilled" that the pitchers can't pitch complete games. Like Seaver, Catfish, Ryan, Guidry, Jack Morris 10 innings in World Series. And guess what, NONE of these players mentioned went on the disabled list as much as today's players. Today's players may be more "skilled," but perhaps they are bigger pussies as well?
  10. You're just a typical young modern douche who doesn't know any better. I forgive you..
  11. He can at least get close enough that you go straight to Chapman, if not Whitlock. I'm 60 years old, I'm used to starters going close to the full nine or at least trying to. This s*** really sucks. Anyone who says it's better doesn't know what the hell they are talking about.
  12. So use an opener and let stud starter pitch 3 thru 9 then. This is why baseball sucks s*** now, LOL The equivalent of Patrick Mahomes being taken out of a close game after 3 Quarters. Baseball is broken folks, and it probably ain't coming back..
  13. This is all due to the soul-crushing loss, due to modern Baseball stupidity, Sunday in Cincinnati. Early pitch count ********, Weissert walk, home run. Win=Loss.
  14. Team still shell-shocked from stupidly gift-wrapping win to Cincinnati Sunday. A loss like that sticks around a little while.
  15. This is just a ridiculous loss today. If this is the case, start an opener and let Early pitch 3 thru 9. Sorry to old-time people. Baseball kinda sucks now......
  16. I guess I'm just too old (60) for this game now.....sorry for cranky, and get off my lawn, LOL
  17. Can he stay in til they stop actually reaching base on him, not after a BALLS-Y Strikeout???!!!
  18. This game was lost by a pitch-count quota. Period. Pure modern-day abject stupidity, aka ( Modern Douchery) Ask anyone over 55. P.S. Your game sucks now.
  19. Pitch count should be disregarded. Early should have pitched until he started to falter. The manager used to see it with his own eyes and know when to go to a reliever. Not this ******** we have today. Give away loss. Laughable
  20. Thanks for recapping the horror I already knew. If this was years ago Early would have finished the inning. Teams never lost games in the old days the way the Sox lost today. The height of stupidity just like all the analytics are.
  21. Pitch counts are the worst thing that ever happened to baseball. If this was the 70's, Early would have stayed in the game and the Red Sox would be victorious today
  22. Unless I'm missing something, doesn't Sandoval kind of HAVE TO be in the rotation??? I mean, we paid this guy over 18M for what we knew was ONE year. Basically, the Walker Bueher Contract. This guy has been a quality MLB Pitcher in his career. We signed him, and dealt with a year of rehab, for THIS year!!! I dont want him in no bullpen at his Salary. If anything, let Oviedo start in the pen. Or do my REAL favorite- a 6-man rotation, although we know that Crochet is not a fan.......
  23. Rafael Devers for not having to pay out 300 more million dollars for an aging weight-challenged player. Think Pablo Sandoval.
