  1. I wish i could see pawsox games on nesn more often
  2. On a seperate note, sundays pawtucket start for anthony ranaudo went masterful. He didnt let up any runs, got some solid ks, and was painting all night long. Just another good young arm we can look forward too seeing up here in the near future,
  3. Peavy still has filthy, filthy stuff when hes on.
  4. 4.52 just isnt exceptable for lester.
  5. And i would guees that we are worse in the al in starter era this month so far, lol.
  6. We gotta hope corbin is off his game tommorow and peavy can stop this s***** starter streak.
  7. With 6 runs and lester on the mound, we should have won this game. Im not putting the blame on beato, its all on lester. Is tough too bail out two s***** performances two nights in a row.
  8. Plus, 41 rbis in 77 games is pretty damn good for your short stop.
  9. Say what you want about drew. But hes had a phenomenal week.
  10. Iggy update: iglesias is 1 for 3 with a single and an rbi.
  11. Papi has been having a bit more trouble with the off speed pitches lately, resulting in more strikeouts. But hey, hes still hitting the ball well.
  12. Well, he did regian it this season, up until that may night in chicago. Then it went down hill. Right after he pitched a cg 1 hitter.
  13. True. His cutter was great back then and he could really rely on it. Now, forget about it,
  14. just dont give up another lester. Please
  15. What a horrendous pitch.
  16. Cmon brock, just another flyout here, if not a hit.
  17. Lets take a poll: Can lester become that pitcher with an era in the low too mid 3s like he was from 2008 too 2011 ever again?
  18. Lester cant hit the damn corners of the plate .
  19. Papi is the best. Period.
  20. Ahahhaahhahahahahahahaha, boy they do not know how too play the wall.
  21. Numbers wise, this 2013 is pretty much closest too the 2008 team.
  22. No interest? Damn, thought this post would be a little more popular.
  23. As of August 1st, 2004, the sox were second in the al east with a record of 56 and 47 and ended the season with an incredible 42 and 17 streak to end up with 98 wins to clinch a wild card birth(and of course would go on too break the 86 year old curse of the bambino by winning the ws). As of August 1st , 2007, the sox were atop the al east at 65 and 42 and would finish the regular season by clinching the al east with 96 wins( and of course, the sox ended up winning the world series by sweeping the rockies). As of August 1st , 2003, the sox were 63 and 45 and second in the al east. They ended the season with 95 wins to clinch a wild card birth but, with a tragic aaron boone hr off of tim wakefield in game 7 of the alcs, the sox would fail to make the ws. Lastly, as of august 1st, 2011, the sox were 66 and 41 and at the top of the al east. And as we know, after a tragic loss to the orioles and improbable rays win on the last day of the season, failed to make the playoffs. And now, with 11 walk offs under their belt, the 2013 red sox are 66 and 44 as of august 1st and are first in the al east. Any comments on the make ups of these past teams and which team do you compare this 2013 sox team the most to?
