  1. Agree. Even more, if we waited for Lackey and it worked, why don't doing the same with Buccholz?
  2. Thanks, mvp. Actually, I work in Argentina for a Canadian-Australian company and my English has improved a lot in the last two years. Nevertheless, I'm not so confident when writing in English without a dictionary (it took me more than 5 minutes each post), that's why I usually don't post during the games, instead of only reading. Going back to the game, and given that i'm a new Red Sox fan (I started following the Sox after 2000), I felt like last night game was even more impressive and exciting than the 4th game of 2004 WS. I think it's because i've followed it on TV, and all that you can hear is the crowd in the ballpark, but it was incredible last night when Vitorino hit that double. Fenway park literally exploded, I don't remmeber anything like that in all this years watching baseball.
  3. No way to re-sign Ellsbury? How about another one year contract?
  4. Hi guys, I've followed almost the entire Red Sox season and post season, mainly via web (here in Argentina there´s no baseball fans, so MLB games aren´t broadcasted on TV). Hopefully, ESPN covered the ALCS and the World Series, so I could watch the most important games on TV. It was really amazing for a foreigner Red Sox fan to follow this entire season, and I've really liked reading this forum in a lot of games (and in almost every post-season ones). I haven't written here because of my poor English, but I've always read your topics. Congratulations, Red Sox fans!! You really deserve it, I'm very happy for you and for the entire Red Sox Nation. I'd really like to be in Boston once in my life and go to a game in Fenway. Edited: it's "poor English"; not "fair"...
  5. Hi all, I'm from Argentina (I live in the north of the country, in Salta). Even though there are no many baseball supporters here, I've been a fan of MLB and baseball for more than 25 years. I've always hated the Yankees but never had a preferred team, but when I've known about the rivalry between Red Sox and Yanks and the "Bambino Curse", I became a Sox fan (it was about 2000 or 2001). A couple of years later, I've supported the Red Sox during 2004 Postseason. Now, I try to watch every match in the Internet and the postseason on ESPN. I follow every game in Talksox Forum, too.
