    I have a hard time believing that the home run derby caused the problems for Gonzo. No reason it should have affected him so far into this season.

    I doubt Bogaerts gets promoted this season. Only 19, and I think they'd like him to get a full season in high A..no need to rush him. most scouts say he won't be able to stick at SS, but it would be really nice if he could given the log jam in the OF and WMB. I don't think Iglesias will ever be anything special with the bat, but the kid needs some time. He had a hand full of at bats last season in AAA before getting injured. He really should have been in AA with his lack of experience at the plate.

    My guess is that he goes to LA. We'd probably get back a B prospect at best. He has some value because he can play both 1B/3B and works counts. But yeah we'd have to eat a chunk of his remaining salary.
