    As soon as possible, as we seen two nights ago we lost a great closer, why lose a great set up man when he is still healthy and available? Bring up whoever until Dice K, or leave Bard as starter until Dice comes back.

    I love how they flirt around 500 just to get swept by TB. Philly will probably become great again when we face them. Lets hope it doesn't get too ugly.

    With or without Middlebrook, Youk, Ells, and CC this Sox team is only matched by Texas offensively. I think our worries should be the inconsistent pitching. We have more than enough offense to win the pitching can't continue with a 5-6+ ERA.

    Bay completely fell apart in the late part of 09, did nothing to help us hold off the Yanks, nothing to help in the sweep against LAA. His avg was way too low, Beltre looked like a one year wonder but I was wrong. Gonzalez should be doing MUCH better, no reason he can't give us Beltre's avg with Bay's power.

    .275 4 homers 9 RBI for Josh Reddick who kind of kicked our ass in this series: 333, 1 homer, 3 RBI, 2 runs, 2 walks.

    If Salty and Aviles continue hitting homers (Shoppach can do it too) then the offense is set. The problem is the pitching, Beckett leading ERA in the high 4s is depressing.

    First post here, going to watch back and forth with the Celts but have no confidence. We had a chance to get out of last and blew it to a soft hitting A's team, as usual these last few years, but 1.5 back of 4th? Here is to hoping we score 8+ runs or another big home skid is coming.
