It seems to me the pitching coach came out of nowhere. I think Farrell identifies good people and that is a plus. Lets hope they can fix Bailey. BTW, I love the Japanese duo. That is what baseball is all about!

I get it that. But getting CC back so soon after TJ surgery is much more stressful than having CC in rehab.

CC is looking awful and BV will have to play him because he is getting pain 142 million. One has to wonder how the team-mates that make minimum salary relate to CC.

Lets be real. It seems Crawford cannot throw and hence is removed in the 7th inning for defense upgrade. Will need TJ surgery and will be out one season. Has a HUGE contract. Cannot hit. Cannot field. Is getting old. Legs will soon go. Has no heart. Chokes. Is there a single GM in the planet that may consider Crawford for a trade? I think there is no one out there that would take him.

I am in shock! This is our ace and he is back in the bullpen. Any ideas? I feel more confident watching this guy pitch than watching Lester and Beckett. How long will this last?

That statement is in contradiction with the bulk muscle mass secondary to steroids. This caused an epidemic of sluggers. Brady Anderson went from 15 to 50 homers in one season after bulking up.

By the way remove the name from the back in the away gray uniforms.

In the old days ALL players used stockings. So stockings would be more traditional than long pants all the way down to the shoes. I like the idea of having an extremely plain gray away uniform with the red stockings.

The away gray uniform should be as it is now, but the letters should be more plain and simple as they were in the Jim Rice days. The away uniform generally has the name of the city in front. The home white uniform should always be the same. The only teams that constantly change the design of uniforms are team with no history or tradition. Imagine if the Yankees did away with the pin stripe uniform or the design of the "NY". It would never be right. Colorful new uniforms only work for newer teams with no history or tradition. Bring back the red stockinsg for all players.

Ok, I somehow thought the baseball players listened. The stuff they say on the local radio is brutal. -
Both radio and tv sport shows denigrated Crawford and Lackey 24/7. I am certain ball players listen to the shows. Crawford always looked like a deer in headlights and Lackey was bitter because of the disapproval. I believe Crawford was unable to freely play his game and the media relentless pressure and disapproval was too intense to overcome. Lackey could be a decent 5th starter and the media expected way too much. This made him even worse.
