I would like to see Jackson come over, but it sounds like he is holding out for a multi-year contract and BC offered him a single year. Oswalt was hurt last year and I'm not sure he can preform like the old Oswalt. I would rather BC offer Jackson a multi-year deal than gamble on Oswalt.

If you are refering to BV's comments about Beckett remember that BV was the media at the time. I read this article last night and had the same reaction as the OP, screw the whiny bastards! I realize that not everyone will like the choice of BV as skipper, but if the same players that helped caused "the collapse" are the ones doing the whining the FO needs to take a serious look at getting rid of these problem causers. A) I disagree with you If the players listen to the media they are stupid. Everyone has an opinion and most people express said opinions. By the time you get to the big leagues you better be used to criticism from everybody who watches the game. It's part of the game. C) If Lackey could be a good 5th starter then he should get paid that way. He is being paid to do a hell of a lot more than be a possibility at the end of the rotation. Just my .02 cents.

I saw Tito laughing in the dugout and thought "Why the hell is he laughing??!!" They were losing the game and in the middle of a meltdown going down the stretch. If Tito can laugh in a situation like that then I think he has lost his "edge" or whatever the hell you call it. I sure as hell wasn't laughing and I'm just a fan. Time to go Tito, thanks for the championships!

Wow, thanks everybody! No professional here, I used a Pentax DSLR (K10D) with a telephoto zoom lens for the close ups and a better zoom lens for the rest. I do think that I will make a photo book of these to remember our first trip to Fenway! The second game that all of the close ups came from we had great seats (Lodge Box 159 row BB against the rail, 13 rows from the field). I thought they turned out pretty good for an amateur!

The wife and I FINALLY got to Fenway to see our first games a couple of weeks ago. What an AWESOME place to see a ball game!! We loved it sooooo much that we are thinking of making it a bi-annual trip! Here are some pics from the games we went to. First day we took a tour of Fenway. IT WAS AWESOME!!
