  1. To funny....M's getting pounded and end up getting hit to boot.
  2. That was an interesting stat for once. Felix has thrown 69 pitches....21 of them to Ramerez.
  3. Fourth inning and the score is 12-4! I suspect the M's will get some additional runs as well cause by rights Felix should go out there throwing strikes and challenging them to hit the ball. You would expect them to hit a few anyway. But to this point it would be hard to call this one of Felix' better outings. He has been out-dualing a guy with a pop gun.
  4. There was just no way for Hatcher to get Ortiz out there...I have no idea what the hell Oz was thinking.
  5. Oh and we almost had it....get him David
  6. At least Agons can still hit a cookie....sometimes...I smell GSHR
  7. I think Nolasco just stepped right on Oz's very last nerve right there. To bad...we could be scoring runs off this clown all night long.
  8. Fortunately, Nolasco is pitching for the other guys. However, very frustrating to see Felix just groove that pitch that rattled off the foul pole, not to mention the rest of that inning. On top of their other issues, we really don't seem to have starters that have that killer instinct...that "I am going to come out and drive a nail right through your heart" thing going for them after the Sox have just put up runs. Almost like our guys don't even think that way.
  9. Oh c'mon remy you are such a homer....very close at first....Mike was out.
  10. Well that was a bloop hit but when the pitch is such a suck ass pitch it is hard to call that kind of bloop hit lucky.
  11. I am thinkin' this is going to be an 8-6 game at least.
  12. Its a bad sign when a LH hitter totally crushes the ball off a LH pitcher the way that thing went ringing off the foul pole. This might turn out to be a battle of wits between Oz and V...which one realizes he has to get his starter the hell outta' there before runs get to be double digits.
  13. Geez Felix could you not at least make it a little hard?
  14. That was actually a pretty tough play for Morrison....ball was knuckling away from him going to the wall. I actually would be surprised to see a guy who does not play Fenway much make that catch maybe once in 5 times. Now that Nolasco has to come to the Sox I would not be surprised to see runs every inning until Oz gets tired of Sox tire treads running up and down his back.
  15. If we could hit against Nolasco every night we would be leading the universe!
  16. Thank you Adrian.....the guy goes to left constantly and then takes a perfect pitch to go to left with and tries to pull it. I give up.
  17. OK Adrian...this guy is now total meat...do somethin'
  18. Second time through and Nolasco is starting to have to come to the Sox more. Sox runs should be on the way.
  19. Nolasco...junk balls down in the Zone = at least presents a bit of a challenge Nolasco...junk balls up in the Zone = Don't park your car behind the Monster!
  20. Oh poor Nolasco...all those wasted junk balls only to leave a pitch in the worst possible spot to Aviles.
  21. Nolasco is junk ballin' something fierce tonight so far. Sox are waiting to see the fastball that so far has not been forthcoming.
  22. Well at least Felix has not given up bunches of runs. Giving up extra base hits and base hits to the first hitters in innings is usually the start of a rally. Unless Nolasco has gotten an infusion of Cy Young DNA since last time out he should give up some runs. I agree though about playing Youk when you are not playing Pedey. Don't want Ortiz to have to be the whole offense.
  23. DP would be nice here
  24. hefting that lofty 257 average to the plate and hackin' at the first pitch AGAIN is Agons.
  25. Would always prefer to score first but Nolasco should not be any kind of a mystery for the Sox. Second times through the order Nolasco usually gets creamed. Would like to see the Sox at least get back that first inning run now though.
