I think Shields makes it one more inning. Definitely goes one more if the Royals get a run in their half. Even if not, Shields has WMB to look for forward to. So he only needs two outs plus WMB and he is out of the 7th.
This Escobar is a better SS than the "other" Escobar. He is not any faster down the line though. Either he dogged it or can't run worth s***. Maybe dogged it since he was not bunting for a hit. That would drive me nuts as a manager though.
I think Merloni is right about the NESN pitch tracker. It does not matter how low the pitch is. If it is on the plate but low it records the pitch as right at the bottom of the zone.
Actually compared to the total waste matter we have seen back there the last couple games, this guy is....not terrible. Hell of a thing...the most I can work up for one these bums is........not terrible
