    Will was not in the base path and if you ask me, Craig used Will's body to help him gain his balance and get going toward home plate and he was way inside the base path.

    I can't take any more of these s***** throws. Salty has thrown so many balls into LF throwing to 3rd this year that I actually think he has hit LF more than 3rd. These are throws with very little to no chance of getting the runner even if it is a good throw and whether he likes it or not Salty has got to know that he has thrown a ton of balls into LF this year. Salty never should have thrown the f***ing ball. In truth as much discussion as there has been about needing more offense, if Farrell had gone with his better defensive alignment with Ross instead of Salty, we would have been way better off. Salty has done nothing at the plate and that play killed us. In fact as has been discussed over and over, every bad defensive play has hurt both teams. The more of them you make, the more likely you are to lose.

    I don't think Farrell liked Naps-Rosenthal for one thing. I don't think Naps would have had much of a shot there either. I would hope Rosenthal is out of this game now. Obviously Workman has to at least get the ball rolling in the 9th. If he gets into any trouble I am sure Farrell brings Koji.

    Nice job Workman....I am not sure he has had a such a successful 8th inning stint in the regular season, never mind WS. That was a hell of a job there.

    One thing the Sox keep taking heat for that I really don't think is deserved is the stolen base thing. The Sox have not had enough guys on to make a difference and each runner has been considered precious because they have been so infrequent. I am really not sure the criticism for no stole base efforts is justified under the circumstances. I have not even seen many natural opportunities present themselves.

    Well lets see, XB's throw to 1st sucked, WMB was in the wrong position on the double down the line and we used up PHers yanking meat...what's to like?

    I really do not like the idea of using PHer's to try to get something started in an inning in the first place. You use up your PHers and completely change your defense for what...to try to start something in an inning? I have never liked using PHers that way. If you have something going, that is different...using them to try to get something going just does not make sense to me. Obviously PHing for the pitcher late when behind make sense even with nothing going. But other than that, I have never liked it.

    No idea why he was not closer to the line but I have to think the coaches would have been positioning him. Boy looking at the replay, he was way off the line for this point in the game.

    Hate to say it but that was a s***** throw...looked even worse from behind him.

    I think in some cases a few of them got so fouled up in the Detroit series that they have not really come out of it. I don't get riding pine for days on end and then swinging at the first pitch from a guy you have never seen before.

    Oh my God...how is this turd not going to be a factor in this game...we have seen some bad calls by umps but his is way off the map, uncharted territory. He is missing pitches right down the pipe now.
