    toronto pitcher is missing his spots. Throwing a lot right in the middle of the plate. Somebody needs to clock one of these.

    That pitch was 79. X can hit 79 with a gimpy wrist. At leasts he can get it to the OF.

    No it wasn't. It was a floater. Should not have even gone in the direction it went.

    I would not be to sure about that. He wrist broke down on that floater to RF in Detroit and that was only a day or two ago. That is largely why the ball just floated out to RF. That should have been one of his power alley shots to the opposite field. It may be to the point where it is feeling fine just walking around. Just walking around ain't swinging at ML pitches, especially FB's.

    Atta' boy JD. Wouldn't want to surprise us would ya'. If its not on the outer half of the plate, JD ain't hitting it. Oh and if its 6" off the outside of the plate, he is swinging at it and missing it. He got one he likes on the outer half in Tigerland and parked it.

    Decent batting order tonight. Gonzolez and and Cordero in, Duran and Dalbac out.....WHO CARES. They are all some version of awful for any team that has post season aspirations. I will go with Verdugo has a good night from the 2 hole. Heck its as good a bet as anything.

    Did anybody see if that thing hit the seam between turf and infield. Short has been a panic out there today.

    They are still trying to hit 7 run HR's....witness Verdugo. They are in a bad way right now.

    Its not a well constructed team and both Duran and Dalbac are being put in situations that are tough on them. Dalbac is in a tough spot batting from the 9 hole which sort of tells you where he really belongs. This team was always going to have to rely on 4 guys in the batting order and if they stumbled we were going to be in trouble. They stumbled. We are in trouble. Bullpen is the only group that has overachieved and that is just not enough.

    Losing a series to the Tigers headed into a four game series with the Jays finally playing in front of their fans. YUK!!!!

    That looked like a gimpy wrist fly out by X that time. Looked like his wrist broke down just from the contact and the ball just floated out to RF.

    eck "it seems like every time Dalbec contributes....WE WIN". Really eck. So Bobby contributed in all those wins that we have? Seems like he would be higher in the batting order if that were the case. I wish eck would watch the game more. He might have some idea what the heck is going on in the actual game being played.

    Perez ends up knocking a decent bat out of the Tiger's order. I guess we can say he did the usual job of scrub pitchers.

    I am OK with this lineup and batting order. I don't know why Plawecki gets so little time. He has not been s*** out there when he plays and Vaz plays too much. Frankly if it were not for day game following night game I am pretty sure Vaz would be out there again today.

    Mize finally imploding. Funny how with all these big names and big bats, Hernandez has been the guy of late.

    Nice change to Grossman Eddie....still his best pitch by far

    Not to contradict eck who they should just put in a skirt and give a couple of pom-poms but Eddie's FB is not something to admire. Its not moving at all. Its going exactly where he is throwing it at 93. Can't believe he will get away with that for too long.
