If I were Cora I would be completely beside myself. "What, did farrell screw these guys up so badly that I just cannot get them back down to earth on the base paths again? How do you go back to the dugout and justify that?

Oh my God..will this base running crap ever stop? That was awful. XB is LOOKING at the CFer and he decides to do that with a hot bat coming to the plate.

Actually the way Cora handles rest for players really does suit Moreland. May not be many players that it suits more than Mitch. He has been in 43 games but on 33 game starts. Obviously he will get more starts with Hanley gone. But too much playing time early in the season can be an issue for him later. He is on a really nice path at the moment.

The average winning percentages around MLB will get somewhat better over time but for all the wrong reasons. Somebody has to win every game as there are no ties in baseball. So once the awful teams start to play each other more often some will turn out to be just slightly better than totally disgusting. Its a hell of a world!

At least we have our RHer going tonight. This place has got to be a graveyard for LH pitchers. Why do you think the Astros rotation is chock full of RH pitchers?

We need to get that run back. I have to admit, this idea of giving up runs because you think you have them to just give up has become rather popular around MLB circles. I don't care ...its still insanity. Most of the way MLB is played today is insanity.

And that is what happens when you don't challenge Altuve. Heck that is not even the worst that could have happened. Just insanely stupid.

Now that pisses me off. Its Altuve for God sake. You are not going to do better than trying to get Altuve to chase? Now what. Now the tying run comes to the plate because you refused to challenge ALTUVE. I don't care how good he is...you just can't do that.

You have to expect this from a guy that young. He has to learn how to work out of this stuff. For one thing, he has to learn that swinging harder is not likely to help you get out of a rut. That might have worked against the chump competition he played against in the lower minors and other baseball leagues, not here.

And usually an ******* dog is a byproduct of an ******* owner. Even pit bulls are not bad animals. There just happens to be a higher percentage of ******* pit bull owners than owners of other dogs.

Had a feeling that might happen. Harris was not making good pitches to Beni and had Beni not allowed his swing to get so big on strike 2, that ball would have been outta' here before this one got outta' here. Harris deserved that. Don't give a guy that many chances to beat you because these guys will beat you.

F-ing Vaz is something else. Give Vaz a guy that has not given up a HR on the season in a circumstance where Vaz does not have one yet.....or has not had one in awhile and.....HR!

I am not sure what is happening. But either Cora has a love affair with nunny or Holt kicked his dog. There is just no reason for nunny to have been put in this game against verlander instead of Holt. It has happened in a few instances already this season and it has got to be some hunch that Cora is playing. Nunny, bad knee, lousy 2nd baseman, RH hitter. Holt, I think his wheels are OK, at least twice the 2nd baseman and given he hits from the left side, I just don't get it.

Nunny was completely overmatched there. Not picking up the ball out of Verlander's arm angle. Did not even know what he was swinging at.

I am pretty much done with the Verlander love-fest. I don't need to hear announcers run him down. But I don't need to hear 6 innings of sucking his dick either.
