    You would think Buck would have known that Beni being a LH hitter his hit was going to spin back toward the LFer. But oblivious Buck calls that a "great play".

    So even though Barnes pitches from the other wing, he needs strikes in exactly the same spot this idiot ump is not seeing as strikes. This could be interesting.

    Smoltz is really getting under my skin. Buck/Smoltz together almost rivals the three blind mice of ESPN.

    JD was moving decently. Usually there is a lotta' pain immediately. Then that calms down. If you are really in trouble the pain starts coming back pretty quick and your already tight shoe starts getting tighter. Looked like the initial pain went and it didn't come back.

    Glad others feel the same way. Was not going to say anything about Beni's vacation saunter down to 1st but in truth, that was ridiculous.

    Thank God. Sox have to take advantage of every opportunity. Can't just leave guys stranded on 3rd base with less than two outs.

    Hit the mound ...whatever.....we needed a fly ball!

    JBJ really has to take what he can get. My hoping he would get the ball in the air when he needed to was just that...hoping. Even a K brings Mookie to the plate with 2 men on. But JBJ is just not the kind of hitter that can lift the ball on command for a lazy fly ball especially against a LH pitcher the caliber of Kirshaw.

    Worst possible outcome. K would have been better with Mookie on deck.

    Pretty tight strike zone for both pitchers. Not sure who it favors. Chris is so far off the plate it hardly matters at the moment

    Hope Kirshaw does not find the range on that bender

    Buck has this wrong. This is not the Dodgers doing this. Chris just can't find the strike zone and the pitches he is throwing that are not strikes are in the main not even close enough to be enticing. Kirshaw is not doing so well either. These "Aces" could be outta' here in a hurry.
