    So there ya' go. Dodgers have hit us with the biggest shell they can load in their canon, Buehler and all they have to show for it through 7.5 innings is a 1-1 tie in their park with JD on a bum leg. This is a game where we have not exactly been all that smart at the plate.

    So that is the end for Buehler. I can only hope they bring a flamethrower out of their pen and that we don't try to GUESS along with what said flamethrower is going to throw.

    We are not being beat by the format in this game. That is not why we are behind. Buehler and our own insistence on guessing what a FB pitcher is going to throw is why we are behind. Think about that. We are a FB hitting team, the best FB hitting team in both leagues and we are guessing what a FB pitcher is going to throw.

    Yup...really the Dodgers should be up 4-0 or 5-0 if they had any sense of how to play baseball. This being a 1-0 game is absurd. God only knows how many errors they would have if we just put the ball in play for God sake.

    I would not fear Beuhler in a game 7 unless we do not learn our lesson tonight. A FB hitting team has no business trying to outguess a FB pitcher. There is no reason for us to be looking mesmerized at the plate. There is absolutely no reason for Mookie to be looking mesmerized at the plate. This guy can and will cause JD problems though because he can throw to the hole in JD's swing and JD won't hit it even if he carries an oar to the plate. The rest of them should just be sitting dead red and should never do anything but sit dead red.

    I hate this f***ing Dodger team. They suck. Machado sucks. The whole damn team except for about four guys sucks.

    That still does not excuse a FB hitting team trying to outguess a FB pitcher! We already proved he could not throw the ball past us. Just ignore his breaking stuff. If he throws it for strike 3, tip your cap and go sit down.

    Buehler's game took a turn that should have been expected. He came out throwing all heat to start the game. Then from the 2nd inning on he started to mix in breaking stuff and we suddenly decided to try to guess with him. We are a FB hitting team and this is a FB pitcher. Don't play guessing games with him. Sit on the FB and swing at in when its in a zone you can handle. THE END!

    Actually Buehler has got Mookie pretty crossed up. Not sure what Mookie is looking for at this point. He spat on a juicy breaking ball that was right in his wheelhouse. So I figured he just does not want anything but a FB and then he let the FB go by for strike 3.

    Double switch and pull Bradley out of the game for who? Beni is NOT an MLB CFer. He just isn't. Cora committed to using JD in LF. JD is the guy that has to come out if the time is right. Throwing Beni in CF with JD in LF makes that entire side of the field through CF a defensive liability. We must have noticed that JD is barely moving out there.

    Thing is, Rick would not been allowed to hit next inning. So in truth Cora is really only burning off Erod.

    Cora burning off Erod here trying to make sure Pederson does not carry this to a 3-0 lead. Sorta' get it. That said, Rick threw just a godawful pitch that Pederson hit out. Not sure Pederson is really that scary. However if Erod does get Pederson, where else would Cora have used him anyway.
