    Alright in the span of a week my Oilers have been swept, Tampa is now a full 2 games up in the division, and I accidentally ate whole wheat bread this morning. Time to turn this garbage week around.. Lets get a win boys!!

    Oh I didn’t mean it like that. I just mean you’re optimistic with players and hoping he turns it around. I do too. I just wasn’t sure if you were hoping he could take the year. I for one want to see him in the pen when sale returns. Unless he changes it and fast.

    Thunder, E Rod blows and he’s getting worse. Not just looking at the numbers. Looking at his co from and mechanics. They are absolutely atrocious and like I said, it’s getting worse and worse. He should be on a short leash. He isn’t showing any signs of getting g better (in fact showing signs that he’s getting worse) you’re an optimistic guy which is cool. But if Sale returns in two months and the rotation is healthy, don’t be surprised if E Rod is sent down to the bullpen Or little league with machines at the rate he’s going. He’s terrible and costing us games Tampa now has a full 2 game lead.

    At this point I would rather see the bullpen have a day than E Rod Whitlock go 3 or 4, Sawamura, Taylor, Ottavino go two maybe and Barnes to close I would take that any day right now over E Rod

    E Rod with another pitiful performance I’m starting to agree, he may go to the pen once Sale is back. E Rod is garbage and showing absolutely nothing to prove to us he can get back to form

    Ya I think Nate will be just fine. He was sharp last game outside of a high pitch count in the early going. He went 5 shut out innings and looked strong. I think if Sale returns to even half his form he will be our Ace once again with Nate going second. As you said though…. It’s a waiting game with E Rod. He just can’t seem to put it together right now. Let’s see what he can do against a tough Astros lineup today.

    Oh for sure Sale will likely start in the bullpen. My guess is a couple games just to get him ready to go…… People act like July or August is so far away but it isn’t. He could come back mid July which is literally next month. Yes their is a chance someone could be hurt in the next 6 weeks or 8 weeks….. my guess is Perez stays if he keeps pitching like this. He has been really solid. It would be between Richards and Pivetta.

    Sorry if this has been discusses, or there is already a thread on this....... As it stands right now in our rotation (I think) Perez has surprisingly the best ERA on the team at 3.59. I highly doubt he gets sent down, E Rod has been brutal this year but after missing all of last year I am sure he will still be in a starting role, Nate as well.... My guess is Pivetta or Richards is sent to the bullpen. Any thoughts? And let's not get into... "Well if Sale sucks, and bla bla bla.... Lets just assume Sale is back to a starting role until proven otherwise.
