    Fair point, however I would also like to see us do some damage this second half of the season. Limping into the playoffs is nearly as bad as missing. I don't want to see a repeat of last year and get swept in the first round.

    Brian Johnson today against the Blue Jays...... With our offense this could be an easy sweep for the Jays. The bats absolutely need to wake up today. This is getting pathetic. Hard to see us making playoffs being dead last in home runs.

    Playoffs will be just like last year. Swept in the first round with this s***** offense. That's even if we make the playoffs. I feel horrible for our pitching staff.

    I knew Price would rebound.... regular season wise. I am getting slightly nervous as to what he will do come playoffs. Another stinker from him would not go over well with the public.

    His ugly start to the season will hurt him stat wise for the rest of the season but just like Price, Porcello is also getting better each game. His last handful of starts have been good to very good. I think he has figured out his game and has settled down a bit. We should have a solid rotation the rest of the way now...... hopefully.

    Ya fair point which makes sense they wear it on Canada day. But they are wearing them every week now. Just seems strange to me even though the Canadian flag is Red and white. Jays colours have always been blue and white. Takes some getting used to.

    Agreed with this completely. Which is why I also don't mind the alt red jerseys once in a blue moon. Even though its not historic I can see them worn the odd time as they are Red. If any team is wearing an all red jersey it should be the REDsox. Teams like the Jays wearing them or when the Atlanta Braves wore red didn't make any sense to me.

    Lol I could only imagine watching a Jays and Sox game on Sunday when the Jays are wearing their alt red jerseys. I am sure I would constantly have to remind my dad which team is which lol.

    Lmao, that's the problem with all these alternates. I actually wouldn't mind owning a blue alt jersey. Ugh.

    Couldn't agree more with this actually! It's a money grab is what it is. I don't mind the casual change on Friday to the blue or red just to change it up but that is about it. There is just too many new jerseys and hats now. The Yankees have stuck to their colours pretty much since they have been in the MLB. I agree with the throw backs as an alt jersey once and a while. I really like those and it makes you feel like you are watching some classic baseball from the 70's. No idea why we don't do it more often.

    Didn't we bring the pull over jerseys back for a game or two a while ago? Those are super cool though.

    I do like them as well I just feel red is used quite a bit especially now that the Jays have been wearing their Canada Day jerseys on Sundays.

    Sorry if this has been posted a million times but I have tried to look everywhere and can't seem to find an answer. When do the Sox wear their alt jerseys? I thought it was every Friday night home game or away game. But last Friday was the first time in a long time I have seen the alt red jersey. Is it totally random or is the Friday night thing still the case?
