  1. Just saw it’s official. Cool. Time to move on.
  2. Lmao.
  3. Hmmm interesting..... I really don’t know what to say to this lol.
  4. And maybe we get a complete stud still. Or Verdugo is our next all star
  5. This is bizarre. Just seen this deal might not go through now lol....
  6. We have Verdugo. We’re winning the World Series. No need for anything more.
  7. Agreed. Even though I like him.
  8. Me too. Still think it takes at least a couple years to be competitive again though. Maybe closer to 5. But maybe I’m just being depressing.
  9. Not to mention he wanted a 12 year contract, he would be 39...... What are the chances a player keeps up his type of play for 12 years? Maybe.... but it's still a HUGE gamble.... It's not like we left empty handed either. Apparently Alex Verdugo is very very good.
  10. Hard to say, we are in a very hard division. We won’t be that bad, but being average in our division will make us look worse than what we are. Jays are on their way to being pretty good too in the next couple years. This could be some down years for us unfortunately. If we exceed expectations then great! I’m just not expecting anything great for a while.
  11. We are rebuilding. We will suck for a while. It is what it is.
  12. People are always stunned when a World Series team loses a couple big players. This isn’t the first time it happened and it won’t be the last. Mookie asking for a 12 year contract is nerve wrecking. That’s a very long contract and anything can happen. Also if this Alex Verdugo is as good as people say, we didnt leave empty handed. It’s always a shock losing a great player like Mookie no doubt, but this team will build. I hate that he has left, but I’m a bit surprised there are so many people surprised that he was traded.
  13. At this point, losing Porcello and Price.... Evo and Sale are question marks. This rotation and pitching staff might be under a severe rebuild.
  14. So what happens to Sale. If we are doing a rebuild or slight rebuild does he stay or go?
  15. Be interesting to see if we trade anyone else. Might be In for a bit of a rebuild.
  16. -22 where I am. So cold and stomach flu. Bah.
  17. I will miss you Mookie. Damnit! I have something in my eye.
  18. Mookie is legit the type of player that could carry the dodgers to the promise land. Ugh
  19. Don't know much about the kid, but my buddy said he is fantastic so I'm cool with this! Not that my opinion matters lol.
  20. Ya fair enough. Price hasnt lived up to the hype of his contract in my eyes either. Had one solid year basically but has been a huge disappointment
  21. We better be getting some prospects for this.
  22. Ya 12 years is a long investment no doubt. That is a bit scary too, but at the end of the day he is basically asking for 35 mill a season. He's worth it..... Unfortunately 12 years is a long time, injuries can kill players and end careers.
  23. Mookie in my opinion is a guy that you can build an entire team around and will be good for years and years to come. I think he is worth the price..... That is one position we won't ever have to worry about if we sign him. We already have enough positions to worry about. AKA Pitching. Reading the board the last few weeks, it's amazing that some are comfortable with our pitching. Porcello is gone, Sale and Price are huge question marks...... I am deathly afraid that our rotation could seriously suck balls.
