    Studying the effects of telling a community of red sox fans on a red sox message board that the Sox are not that good..... if you really could not predict the outcome, you probably really are a university researcher. Thanks for using tax money on such important work.

    Managers arguing is not entertaining to me at all. It's a waste of time, never effective, usually disingenuous, immature, and a terrible example to kids. If you think its 'entertaining to watch a grown man scream like a brat in another man's face watch the WWE.

    Yeah I understand the conventional wisdom, I just don't like it. And I understand I'd be in the minority if not alone in my thought. To me it'd be as smart as walking the first batter in each inning to increase the chance of a double play. And it increases the odds of stuff going really bad for the defense.

    It leaves no room for error, and when the team is playing like crap it's not smart. The pitcher could throw a bad pitch and walk in a run.

    Well shoot. I was going to mute my tv and listen to the weei radio broadcast, but the time delay won't match up close enough.

    That is really great. I've not been a die hard baseball fan all that long.... but pretty sure I will remember this season till I hit the grave. It has been so fun.

    Too funny, Sox are the hottest team in mlb, one of the greatest team turn-arounds ever, on the verge of sweeping the tanks as an explanation mark on dominating them all year... and the announcers want to talk about the genius of Joey G.

    Lackey has been happily my biggest miss with predictions. I really thought he would suck so bad he'd be out of the rotation a month into the season. Man alive he has been great.
