Cheers guys. It's our third. Not been the best day, had to work and she went to pay final respects to her friend who died at the weekend sadly. Will crack open a bottle of red and watch a bit tonight. Need to get back on track swiftly before we fall too far behind again, not that I'm expecting a world series appearance this year.

Day off may do them good. There is only one reason they are losing this game. 5 runs off one hit is giving the game away. You just can't do that unless the opposition pitcher is having equally as bad a day.

Good win tonight. Yes a little bit of luck involved with a few calls, but I think we have deserved it a little as a lot of things haven't gone our way. Even last night against the Rays with Pedroia being called out at second and evey broken bat hit landed between the in and out field where as ours went straight to an infielder. Don't care how they come as long as they come. Keep it up and get over the .500 tomorrow!

No, but they are rarely over here anyway. As I said earlier, once a decision is made on either renovating Anfield or moving an once the club is back in the champions league then I'm sure that they will back away a little. I haven't heard anything from them to suggest anything but pride at owning the Red sox in anything they have mentioned over here. Personally I like FSG as LFC owners. Besides, there are far worse owners to be had. Lfc still bares the scars of 44 months of Tom Hicks ownership.

Don't believe everything you read about Liverpool. We have won one trophy this year and are in the final of the fa cup. Considering the club was 2 hours away from going out of business thanks to gillett and hicks before FSG stepped in, thing are going steady in terms of recovery. However there is still a lot to do. That is why they are spending time here.

I'm a Liverpool fan over here in the UK as well as a Red Sox follower. I have to say that there has been no sign of FSG showing any less interest in the Red Sox from where we are. Infact, they flew over for Opening Day at the weekend missing our FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley against our City rivals Everton. They also missed the Hillsborough memorial service the following day which is an improtant day in the LFC calander. Not that any of us hold any resentment for missing either, we understand that Opening day on Fenways 100yr anniversary is also a big deal. There have been problems at LFC, but they took over a total wreck of a football club. Slowly they have built us back up again, however on the field there is much to do. The English Premier League however is a massive cash cow. More so than any other sport in the world. The Champions League is a money generator and I think they will be putting a lot of energy into getting us back into that once more. Add to that Anfield either needs redeveloping or a new ground needs building. Once they are achieved, I think you will see a bit more balance between the two of us. I can't see them selling the Red Sox though. It, along with LFC, is a flagship brand of their portfolio.
