  1. Keep it rolling. When the Sox are playing well, I hate night games because that means I have to wait around all day in excitement
  2. We'll see what the Yankees can really do next week when Houston comes to town. They should sweep Detroit, but most people will this season. That team is BAD
  3. What a great month of April! We finish with the best win % in the entire league. Let's make May even better. First two weeks of May feature a rather light schedule. Two more with Texas, 3 at home vs Detroit, then 4 in Baltimore. Let's plant our flag in the AL East!
  4. I agree. Despite living in New England, I am relegated to the radio this season because my cable provider dropped NESN
  5. That would be Will Flemming. Younger brother of ESPN's Dave Flemming, also the radio voice of the SF Giants. I like him. When they have Lou Merloni in the booth with them as well, it's not as tolerable
  6. At least Franchy seems to be good for something
  7. Maybe they've had one since Opening Day
  8. I guess JD feels better tonight
  9. I don't think we're the only ones. I don't have the stats handy but it feels like HBPs are up throughout the rest of the league too
  10. Those days off sure gave Judge a boost
  11. Can't blame the Rangers. Cancel your governor, if anybody
  12. Now that we're up 4 I can officially root for Nick Solak
  13. To decide who to DFA when Santana gets called up...?
  14. Don't you love walks when they are to our hitters? How about a crooked number here in the 1st
  15. Why is a guy in a long 0 for slump leading off?
  16. Arroyo 2B Verdugo CF Martinez DH Bogaerts SS Devers 3B Vazquez C Dalbec 1B Renfroe RF Cordero LF
  17. Had a great workout this afternoon. As promised, I just finished my vegan pizza and I am ready to go
  18. Looking forward to seeing Nate bounce back from when I saw him on Saturday and continuing the great run of starting pitching we are on
  19. This team would lose more than they would win in that format
  20. Like that guy Kikuchi in Seattle. Couldn't throw a strike against us last Friday, then goes out and 1 hits Houston yesterday. It will happen. That's the direction the league wanted to go in this year so we just have to get used to it. That said, we really need to take the next 3 games of this series. Big opportunity here to make some headway in the standings with Detroit coming to Fenway next week
  21. That explains last night, but in the two games against the Mets he looked lost at the plate. Wonder if that's what was going on there as well
  22. Tough loss. Offense is currently going through one of the ebbs that always comes with a 162 game season. Hopefully we can continue to keep ourselves in the game with pitching until the offense gets going. The quality of starting pitching we will see the rest of the series falls off dramatically from Gibson. Need to play better defense tonight though. The radio booth pointed out that Xander looked jet lagged, or at least fatigued/tired. I have to think playing in front of a near capacity crowd for the first time in 18 months had something to do with at as well. Maybe a little stage fright?
