This is why we need Buchholz back. When he comes back the top 3 of our rotation will be pretty solid. If Lester's next start is even half as good as Monday's, it will be a sign that he is starting to turn things around. Peavy has been pretty good so far, but hasn't really gotten run support, at least in his last two starts. I think Buchholz's return will improve the morale of not just the pitching staff, but the whole team. They know that if they get some runs and play good defense, they are almost guaranteed to win with their dominant ace on the hill.
On a side note, Buchholz has been out since game 2 of the DH on June 8th, the last game I was at.
