    I've also grown up around the FOX anthem. They don't overplay it, so it sounds better than it is.

    It's just that seeing a Taylor lookalike in school everyday brings down her hotness value.

    I've grown up around Buck. Football on Sunday afternoons, MLB all summer. I like his style. It's similar to what mine would be if I were a broadcaster, which is a career that I'm contemplating.

    That's right. I put it up in the bottom of the third after struggling to find someone. Sounds a lot like me. A lot. Exactly what I've been trying to do.

    The Sox have found ways to win games that Scherzer has pitched. Back in September, we won that 2-1 game in which Lester pitched a dandy. Pretty interesting considering how dominant Scherzer has been.

    Wacha has potential. He has been great all year and has a bright future. He's a comparison to Sanchez. Wainwright is at best a solid Verlander.

    Tigers also have 4 righties. Cards have Wainwright, Wacha, Kelly, and Lynn and Tigers have Scherzer, Verlander, Sanchez, and Fister. Not much of a difference.

    I find it weird that jacko shows up AFTER the game turns around. I was expecting a reign of joyful noise after the Tigers took a 5-0 lead.

    There's a story in this week's Sports Illustrated about clutch hitting. They argue that is is hard to define, which it is. In Papi's case, someone else could have gotten that hit. He just happened to be up in that situation. The whole team knows Benoit well. I have a feeling that Gomes, Nap or even Salty could have done the same thing had they been up at that time.

    I saw the cop on the first replay shown by FOX. I hadn't realized that Hunter had fallen over until they showed him over the fence.

    Sure. I guess you find things like this pretty common.

    Just beats out the Pats comeback. I bet you're right though.
