Hell yeaaaaa!! Bailey had the K on 3 straight pitches but the Ump didn't see it. I really hate the "human element" of umpiring... time for electronic zones. Pitchers will know the zone; consistency ensues. anyway-- RED SOX!! Sweep tomorrow!

Carp will see an average of less than 3 pitches per plate appearance. Carp will strikeout at least once. Carp will only create outs tonight. Other than that, I think the rest of the Red Sox lineup will breakthrough vs Masterson and we'll get into Tito's bullpen a lot sooner than most expect. If we win tonight, sweep is a lock.

Carp sucks. JBJ gets people excited and has a future here. Mike Carp should be let go-- whats the point? JBJ will go back down when Ortiz returns and Carp is useless.

Well, they probably want a bigger sample size. Obviously us Boston fans are going to say, "f*** that" cause we love what we have seen so far this year. Also, not everyone (on the national level) has them outside the top 10. You should check out Grantland.com -- their rankings are way, way better. Jonah Keri is really good. anyway: I don't totally disagree with these rankings given most teams have only played 12 games. Actually, I don't disagree with it at all. For right now, it looks solid. Next Monday will probably bring change.
