So, let me get this straight.....it's OK to bitch about Francona even tho' we're winning because in his case the fact that we're winning doesn't matter...but in the case of Drew we can't bitch about him because we're winning????

OK, try this one....when we come to a 5-4 game with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th and Drew comes up and waves at three curves to end the rally, I would guess that you then would start with the "f*** Drews'" all over the place....now is the time to somehow get him out of the lineup..because with him not there, we will be much better off.

I personally am thrilled with the 9 straight...made it all the way back to .600 ball....however, that does in no way give JD Drew a pass for hitting .230 and looking like my grandmother at the plate...two entirely different issues...just 'cause something is working, even well, doesn't mean it can't be made better.....

c'mon, people, criticism isn't necessarily a bad thing...yes, it does sometimes get in the way of the ongoing group hugs, but, really, it is probably more honest than all the stroking that goes on around here....

Hey, Fan for Life....4 K's is a far cry from 4 hits...and even you have to admit from behind the rose-colored glasses, that J.D. Drew has, right now, one of the worst-looking swings in the majors...(or maybe the minors..)
