  1. Drew is about as athletic as Jamie Moyer...
  2. I am a huge Crawford fan despite his slow start. I feel like he has proven enough to be moved up in the lineup. However, our 1-5 hitters are lights out so far to start the season. Peddy is in a little funk but he needs to remain in the 2 hole regardless. My question is, with our top 5 hitters hitting the way they are...where should CC hit? Me personally, I liked him in the 6 hole. With him sandwiched between Papi and Lowrie he should see some decent pitches to compensate his free swing. I also like Lowrie hitting behind CC because of his XBH ability which puts the scoring from 1st to 3rd into play. Sadly our opinions mean nothing but its something fun to talk about lol.
  3. Well the difference between Crawford and Drew is that Drew will continue to play terrible for the remainder of the season.
  4. Jesus, Crawford has 1 bad month and you are crucifying him lol. Since then he has 3 walk offs and is hitting over .300 Someone needs to turn that frown upside down. Thank god you arnt making the lineup.
  5. If you can honestly watch Morton pitch and say that his stuff is average you have no idea how to evaluate talent. I have watched multiple games of his and he has tons of potential to be a dominant pitcher in this league. He is a 3rd year player...of course his career stats arnt stellar. Go look at Halladay's first 3 years. He has 2 CG a sub 3 ERA and is top 30 in the league in WHIP and 6 out his 8 outings are to playoff teams. How can you honestly say he doesnt have potential?
  6. Taillon is a fireballer. In no way should be compared to Halladay. Other than body size?
  7. 2 CG and a sub 3 ERA..I wish I had average stuff.
  8. Look at Roy Halladay's stats when he first arrived in the league chief. I think he turned out alright...
  9. Cincy has a well respected lineup so they are no push over. He has the potential to be a big name in this league. Hopefully he doesnt become a bust like every other Pirates young star. (Zack Duke, Paul Maholm)
  10. This guy is almost a mirror image of Halladay. He seems to have found his stuff and is just raping mostly every team he faces. I think he has one of the wickedest sinkers in the game. I'm hoping he keeps it up!
  11. This guy makes me clinch my butt cheeks when he's at the plate. He developed a new swing (That asian leg kick) last years off-season and has been raking ever since. This is his 2nd straight year tearing up the league..thats not a fluke.
  12. Charlie Morton from the Pirates is almost a clone of Roy Halladay. Keep your eye on this guy..he is unbelievable. Go to MLB.com and look up his highlights. Tell me what you guys think.
  13. I am certainly not heart broken that we did not go after Beltre. Beltre is one of the biggest under-achievers in the game until it comes to a contract year (which is why, i think, Theo signed him to a 1 year deal). The guy absolutely falls off the map after he signs a big contract.
  14. When you go 11-5 with an ERA almost at 5 is a fluke... That means he got to pitch on the days the Sox decided to destroy the ball. The Win/Lose column is very deceiving. Look at King Felix in 2010 13-12 with a 2.27 ERA. Win/loss column depends on if the offense is on or not imo.
  15. None. But realistically I doubt any will come up until the All-Star break. Although I am surprised some blood sucking reporter isn't writing a column somewhere by now. lol
