    Russel Martin says Boston wasn't very interested in him. Theo was concerned about his injuries. I wonder if the world reknowned Sox medical staff ever looked at him.

    Can everyone remember the enormous high Red Sox Nation was on after we swept the Angels and headed to Baltimore? Weren't the O's just swept by the Yanks at home? The Sox had everyone fooled that they were BACK from the dead. How can Tito possibly keep his job? Has Theo given him bodyguards in Boston? Has Henry provided bodyguards for Theo? Has the mayor provided police protection for Henry? Does anyone think Giardi would still have his job if the Yanks started the season like this with no serious injuries as an excuse?

    Does anyone know who developed Crawford's batting stance? I wonder if his stance is critiqued as a potential cause of his inconsistency.

    Ha ha...I see you feel strongly that Rays fans haven't watched Crawford very much over the years he played in Tampa.

    I wouldn't be worried about Crawford except that most Rays fans are thankful that Fuld took his place. He wasn't clutch in sleepy Tampa and he surely seems to be over his head on the big stage in Boston.

    It's incredible how Joe Maddon has suddenly found new life in his Rays. Those players really play for him. And it's also incredible how Cashman kept the Yanks hiding in the weeds by making so many correct tweaks without panicing. The Yanks have their problems as well, but management of that team doesn't seem one of them. The Sox management is in complete disarray. When the Fenway faithful are already booing this team in April, it's time for John Henry to make hard chocies and shake things up.

    With so many aspects of the Sox way out of kilter - pitching, hitting, fielding - doesn't this all point ot the fact that the Sox were just not mentally prepared for this season? Love him or hate him, Tito seems to have lost this team in ST. I don't see how anything will shake up this team as much as replacing him. He continues to press all the wrong buttons with a veteran team. This is fast becoming a Lost Season where mediocrity will be a vast improvement over ineptitude.
