  1. I see. So better make sure we have money available when I get a mail or something from Sox Nation... If we miss out on these premium tickets, there are still a decent chance to get tickets from someone outside Fenway? Without it costing an arm and a leg I hope.
  2. Why can't I purchase these tickets from the official site yet? I bought tickets from the D'backs series without any problems. I live abroad and would like a chance to get the yankee tickets before they are sold out. Didn't find much info about this when googling, so I try here. Thanks.
  3. Many thanks Godataway. I will check out these things. Especially the Duck Tours and Newport Rhode Island sounds really interesting. We like walking a lot, so Boston must be the right place for us. Museums and anything that has history is usually interesting. It's late september, and we'll be staying in the Cambridge area. Plenty of time for the Fenway Park tour and doing other things than watching baseball, Harvard, restaurants (sea food), I am sure we won't be bored.
  4. Hi, I introduced myself here before, but it's been a few years, so I'll do it again. My name is Rune, from Oslo, Norway. Need some advice because I'm going to Boston with my gilfriend in september. Apart from Fenway, what places is worth seeing? Are there any places we should avoid? We will probably use airb&b some place not too far from Fenway, because we will try to see as many games as possible. We Are staying in Boston for about 10 days hopefully. Any advices will be appreciated. Thanks.

  15. Thanx for the warm and creative welcome:D I see todays match starts early so I get to watch it before i go to work (better than watching the re-run when I get home around 7am). I hope to be active in the game threads with some time.
  16. Cheers everyone! I became a Red Sox fan mostly because my older brother (RIP) was a big fan. I read and watched some of the history, and decided this should be my team! Started watching (and even playing) baseball in the late 80's when baseball and the other big sports in the states was available on tv for most people in Norway. However, I've been most interested in footie (soccer) and have not watched much baseball since the 90's as they stopped showing it on television. This year I got myself a proper internet at home and decided to get MLB.TV and it's fantastic to have the opportunity to watch baseball everyday! There's a lot of things for me to get into this season, I know the rules of the game, but so many players, statistics etc. but it gets more exciting the more I learn. Dissapointing start of the season for Red Sox, but I'm positive and think it will get better and better:)
