    Balance, Balance and more Balance. Balance/Equilibrium is the name of success in all aspects of life. We are the 1st offense and the 26th in Quality Starts in all baseball. A serious WS contender can't go that way. Beckett and Lester are supposedly in shape and healthy. Buch a whole mystery, don't make me even talk about the others. This team needs balance for sure, and pitching is our Achilles' heel. On the other hand, the Phillies are a pretty good example of what a balanced team is. Great Pitching and a respectable offense, so... where would you stack your odds and your one million dollars without fanaticism in this scenario...

    That scenario sounds like a scary movie. I hope that our FO is working on this; gonna cost? Gonna be hard? Gonna cost a lot of money and top prospects? OF COURSE, ALWAYS, if you want to bring a solid SP for a long shot; and guess what? The scenario demands it.

    WIN at least! We are still earning a lot of Rs. We are wining and scoring a lot of Rs as well, but our rotation is not making the Job and that should be a red flag to the FO. BTW when will Buch be ready?

    Few days ago he was at some point something like 2-22; and even with that slump he is still batting .347; simply ridiculous.

    The combination of ERA (60%), WHIP(30%) and W-L(10%) vs Rs support/game, should rule the award. Beckett has an outstanding season and he is definitely a contender, nobody saw this coming.

    Put it in this way and I hate to do it but, we face the damn Yankees 18 times, which is by far a better offense than the Phillies, and guess what? our rotation has been pretty good against them. The Phillies? they face the Braves, the Mets and another "solid offense NL teams" but nothing compared to a AL East offense.
