  1. Jimeeeeeenez!
  2. Yup...The SP is the Aquilles' heel not just for the next 3 months but for the mid/long term.
  3. Ubaldo could be a solid long shot. He's 27. Buehrle and Kuroda are 32 and 36 respectively. Buehrle is not that old but his best years have gone, regardless he has been solid this year. I would go once and for all for a long shot bet, we need it anyway.
  4. Damn!...^^^^ Theo... C'mon!
  5. SOS! Buchz has something beyond than a simple injury that can heal with some time. We can't live with all this incertitude around this kid, this team has great chances to make the WS, and we won't go anywhere with Lackey and Miller/Weiland/Wake as the 3-4-5 of the rotation. We need to make everything in our hands to bring the best starter pitcher available in the market. Theo: pilas!
  6. Cmon guys!... WE can lead the majors after this! Let's go RS!

  8. got a Lap?.. you can watch it there or just hook it to the TV via hdmi cord
  9. A-God is a hit/RBI-machine V8 600 HP
  10. It is awesome man!, it comes in HD, and you can watch the games even in the cell phone, ipad, ps3, or just connect your computer through the TV. If you want to watch several games at the same time, buy the premium pack. I thing that it is not that expensive given the value.
  11. Somehow this offense never supports Beckett with those 10Rs/ game... Hope this is not one of those
  12. And this is extended to any professional team in every professional sport; they get revenue due TV rights, advertising, merchandise, tickets, etc. and guess what? The fans are the only reason that all this happens, the only! without them this would be another amateur team... If you put The Boston Red Sox value chain in a business case in order to measure any metric (ROI, IRR, EBIT, PAYROLL, etc.) , Every part of the case would be related with the fans' contribution, every part. If you ask Henry and Theo, they would say that the fans are the most important PART of the team, and they are, you bet! So... Putting that way, Kevin Youkilis and every single player should start worry if those rally caps, tickets, mlb.tv, pizzas, beers, etc. weren't consumed by the fans anymore, otherwise they wouldn't be paid, and you know what, there is not other reality, trust me! So... I would go to therapy if you go to finance classes . (just kidding :harhar: )
  13. At this point I would label him as a HOFer considering our actual B-roster But I'd rather insist in Ubaldo... We'll see.
  14. Red Sox Rumors: Rasmus, Starting Pitchers By Tim Dierkes [July 27 at 11:26pm CST] The latest on the Red Sox, who have the best record in the American League... The Red Sox are “still looking at all options,” including outfielders, but their focus may be shifting to pitching, according to Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald.* Lauber hears that the Red Sox didn’t actively pursue Colby Rasmus. The Red Sox will consider Rich Harden, Erik Bedard, Hiroki Kuroda, Jeremy Guthrie, Aaron Harang, and Ubaldo Jimenez as they decide whether to add a starting pitcher, reports Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe. *ESPN's Jayson Stark names Kuroda, Bedard, Harden, and Jimenez as pitchers on their radar. *He notes that the Red Sox have "stayed involved from the beginning" on Jimenez. The Red Sox wouldn't give up anything really good for Kuroda, opined MLB Network's Peter Gammons on WEEI's Mut & Merloni show. Gammons believes the Cubs' Reed Johnson is the most logical fit for an outfielder for Boston.
  15. Anyone else? Hehehe.
