  1. You just buried Lackey Jacko
  2. If those numbers are for this season, SoxFan got a point, and we could see the light in the end of the road, otherwise I would be worry.
  3. Really? How is that? Sarcastic right?
  4. IMO when you get pounded early in the games just like have been happening lately with our team, your mindset is definitely other after that, and our offense is resenting that fact; when that happens it doesn't matter which pitcher is sent by the other team. I mean, this team has earned 73 f***ing Rs in 11 games against all kind of pitchers (6.6 Rs/game; in 6 of those 11 we have earned at least 7 Rs) it is simply ridiculous, none offense can bear that.
  5. The pitching-match-up panorama against Toronto and TB isn't encouraging at all. Jacko is right there; normalize to me is when you are a 3-4.5 ERA pitcher and a couple of bad nights caught you by surprise somehow but you know that you have the abilities to come back and go through after all. This ain't the case with our pitching staff. Look at the ERA numbers of our current rotation. Miller-Weilands-Lackey-Wakefield are 6.0+ ERA pitchers. We have 2 options: 1. Recover Bedard and Beckett @ full of their abilities = 3-4 ERA. 2. Avoid that Lester gets pounded early in the games and pitch at least 7 inning & hope that our offense produce those 10Rs per game more often till the end of the season, especially when Lester is not pitching. That's the scenario, scary huh!
  6. I'm still having browsing-issues (I just get used to it ). It is very slow and hard to navigate through the site. It doesn't happen at talkpats.com, regardless it didn't happen either here the first couple of months when I just began posting. Is it my user? Maybe a subroutine in my account is hung or something. I really appreciate in advance your help.

  12. Swept and humiliated Heyy A7000... Time to push that button.
  13. Finally a Run. Let's go Red Sox!,
  14. Get pounded early in the games is becoming a classic.
  15. 2-0, nobody out and men at 1st and 2nd. Unexpected.
  16. Seems like nobody gives a damn about starting the GT lately, huh! Win, Johnny is on the mound.
  17. As I said, I don't like it either but it is how life unfortunately works .
  18. +1
  19. Well, I got your point and the human side of it is moving and I share the same convictions; nevertheless, this is not just an amateur baseball, this is an enterprise that goes beyoooooond baseball; they are professionals and are paid very well (overpaid IMO) to do the job, just like any who has a job and has to deliver results, so... you just cant leave the money behind since it has a lot of consequences in the organization like clogging the payroll in order to bring somebody else who could be better; a lot around here including me, have a lot of problems as well (or even worse) just like John Lackey, but guess what? we have to go out there every day, work 10-12 hours every day and return/perform with quality results for what we are paid for. Unfortunately life is that cold, you keep your personal things at home and keep going. I'm not sure how the jobs are managed in the States , but here, you have to perform as you supposed to, otherwise you get fired as simple as that (I don't like it either, but my employers give a damn what is going on with my personal life, in the end they want results.) . IMO If he has those issues, he should be honest and tell the GM that his head is in another place and ask for a break in order to fix his personal problems, clear his mind but stop charging-- he is already a Millionaire anyway-- and give room to the team in order to make a move or something to improve and give 'em better chances to win, otherwise, everyone loses. No hard feelings but life is like that, unfortunately. ALMOST everything is money these days.
  20. Welcome. Are you from Tijuana?
