    I'm convinced that our putrid apples contaminated the good ones. Even Felix or Lee would have ended up with a 6.0 ERA that September. Mentally we were done already, even without playing. Everybody was expecting tons of runs early in games. Always was a declined and tough hill that September.

    Amen. We have plenty discussed this issue. Some friends here are not with us and it is fine, but sometimes you do not appreciate/value your own assets as you do when you are looking somewhere else. Sure, he costs a lot of money, but as you said, we have plenty overpaid for trash players over and over again mostly in recent years.

    I like what I have seen from Ciriaco this ST. I think he has earned a spot in the team. SOX 1 TB 0 with an alternative L-up.

    Call me crazy but At this point and after watching Doubront this ST, I feel more comfortable with him than with Oswalt. On the other hand nobody has earned the 5th spot, but as some said, Aceves could eat a lot of innings in the BP and hopefully somehow Bard at least give us a 4.5 ERA and 140+ IP. There's no more gentlemen, cross your fingers, and let's support our team. Let's go Red Sox.

    I thought that ST was going to be thermometer in order to give the 4-5 spots in our case since we do not have "natural/proved/solid" SPs at 4-5. If ST is not the go/no-go, i want to know what will be the criteria in order to give the spots...

    yeah! I heard some jokes about that too. He has lost some points (this/last season) because the Sauber engineering team has made several technical mistakes with the car. Give him a better car/team and he will surprise everybody in F1, regardless Carlos Slim is sponsoring him.

    Well, I meant the solid and strong Buch we have seen at some points in the past. He has the potential to be a #1 starter IMO. Sure, I'm concerned about his health but he is young and If he stays healthy, do not be surpriesed; he could give us an ERA around 3.0. and 180+ IP.
