Crawford would be so much better if he were just a bit more patient. He needs to take more pitches. I'm sure he's gonna turn himself around but it still isn't fun to watch.

Oh I know. Station said he's been lucky all year, last inning we got a break but Aceves has been amazing this year and I doubt he's been lucky his entire career.

I'd rather not Fat Albers come in, a meh Aceves is better than him these days. Plus it's the bottom half.

Actually, I looked at his stats and he has a history of outperforming his peripherals. They've never been very pretty, I wouldn't say he's lucky, just an anomaly.

Seriously though, why are umpires immune to losing their jobs? What happens if a player sucks? He gets cut. Umpires get to keep their jobs no matter what, they all suck aside from Joyce really. The only way to get rid of them is either they die or retire. They piss me off more than any professional official. We need instant replay, in the time it takes the manager to unsuccessfully argue a call, they could've gotten it right. Put a guy a with a TV somewhere and have him connected to a mic on the crew chief. It is so f***ing simple.
