If he can get on base at a mid .300's clip and hit for solid power, he'll be worth the 5 million. His average negligible compared to those two things.

I'd prefer we use Uehara as the designated "clean up other people's s***" guy. I don't wanna keep him on ice just to get some 3 run platter save in the 9th. Plus, bailey blew it today but its just one game and we still have to get hanrahan healthy. We definitely have options.
