    Cabrera is certainly an interesting case but as far as Braun goes, I still consider him the 2011 NL MVP. He's certainly an ******* but he's an MVP ******* in my opinion.

    What I meant is that it wouldn't affect my opinion of them as players. I wouldn't decry them as cheaters, liars, etc. etc. I'd just be upset that they'd gotten busted.

    Fair enough. I get what you're saying and I can understand how someone might feel that way.

    I have no problem with people not liking players that use PED's. I understand that people feel lied to or cheated or whatever other reasons they have for not liking steroid users. I just don't feel the same way. I never had a huge issue with it and if Pedey or Ells or Buch ever got caught, I really wouldn't be bothered by it except of course for the suspension. Just my feelings on the matter.

    We're in the same boat. 9 times out of 10, we're as optimistic as it gets but every now and then the rage comes out. It happens.

    f*** Carl Crawford. He comes here on a huge contract and then completely sucks ass and then he can't even admit it was his own damn fault. The fans here gave him more than enough time to get together but he's too much of a fragile pansy to have gotten his s*** together in Boston. I hope that f***wad enjoys us destroying his new club's ass this weekend.

    Baseball's never been clean. Cheating is a huge part of the game's history. Hank Aaron and Mickey Mantle used Greenies, Gaylord Perry built a HOF career on an illegal pitch, and Bobby Thomson hit his shot with help from a sign stealing operation. I don't see how that's all okay but then steroids are suddenly some moral outrage that causes massive witch hunts by the press.

    We lucked out in missing Grienke and Kershaw. I'd say that Friday and Sunday's pitching matchups are in our favor.

    At this point, I'd prefer to see Dempster smoking crystal in the dugout than standing on the mound.

    It's close. If 5/100 were guaranteed to do it and I felt better about Ells' power remaining consistent, I'd probably take Jacoby. Choo is a consistent guy who's pretty much certain to get 20 homers a year with a .390-.400 OBP. As it stands now, 5/100 for Jacoby and I'm down for that but I'm not sure that's what he's gonna ask for.

    I'm still leaning towards Choo. Great OBP skills with consistent 20 HR power. He sucks defensively but we can just stick him in left, put JBJ in center, and have Vic in right. I think we could get him for 4 years at around 70/80 million.
