Blackburn just threw to a 1.50 ERA against us. We can rough up Haren and Weaver, but boy you throw Blackburn at us and we might as well not bring a bat to the plate. God this team is incredibly frustrating.

Beckett's ERA down to 2.03 after 6 IP. He's thrown 95 pitches, might be good for 1 more but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ace come out of the pen for the 7th.

These ESPN announcers are acting as if Blackburn tubed a fastball right down broadway to Gonzo. Apparently they didn't see the same curveball up and in that I saw.

I'm not advocating that we sign Max Ramirez. I'm asking you who is a better option than Salty right now? You complain about him enough, there must be a better option out there.

I understand that you don't like Salty, but who would you rather see behind the dish?

That's fine with me, but our ideal line up should 110% have Crawford either 2, 3, 5, or 6. Definitely not 8. And if we're not going to shuffle it around, then let's put him in his ideal spot and leave him there.

No joke. This is one of the reasons I get so frustrated with Francona. Pedroia is hitting .131 in his last 61 AB, and he hasn't moved from the 2 slot. JD Drew is hitting .095 in May, yet he is always in the 6 hole. Crawford is hitting .387 in his last 31 AB, yet we won't bump him any higher than 8th. WTF is up with that? At the very least, swap Crawford and Drew. I mean seriously. That's horrendous. I realize Pedroia is the heart and soul of this team, but Francona has such double standards with these guys. Hopefully Pedroia starts to take off today and we can bump Crawford to 2 and everyone down a slot. Francona said that he'll bump Crawford up when it makes sense for the team. Well Tito. You've got a 2 hitter who's BA has dropped 100 points in the past 2 weeks, you've got a 6 hitter who is 2-for-May. How the hell does it NOT make sense at this point??
